200m, 5 pitches. The easiest way to find this it to start from The Ramp which is the grade 1 ground under the Clogwyn y Ddysgl cliff. The start is 50m right of the V notch of Waterslide Gully, at a short stubby buttress, above a big flat boulder, with a snowy ramp leading gently off rightwards.
P1 5 50m Climb a faint groove for 5m to a ledge on the left. Move left to gain the series of icy grooves (a mix of rock & ice gear) which lead gently leftwards & then back right (sustained) to a snowfield & easy ground. Stance at a small spike on the right. 60m ropes will reach another spike on the left & 70m will get you to a huge spike to the right of the next icefall.
P2 40m 4 A steep icefall awaits, approachable from below or the right. A stance can be taken above this, on the right.
P3 30m 4 Another icefall, slightly less steep, lies above & to the left. A stance directly above it.
P4 & P5 80m 2 Easy ground, over snowfields, icy bulges & open grooves lead to a fine position on the ridge.
