[You don't expect to find cornices this big 100m above sea level!, 1 kb]Between False Slab Buttress and Upper Buttress is a wide snow gully, which narrows to form a steep chimney between an undercut right wall and the turf bank to the left. In lean conditions the chockstone may be difficult. Requires a hard freeze and a large dump of snow. Sometimes forms a cornice at the top.

Cracking! Didn't expect to find such a good mountain-style gully two minutes from my house. Interesting chimney-climbing at the crux followed by an hour of cornice-tunneling. Quality stuff.
