[The crux of Open Knightly (second ascent), 4 kb]20m. Start a metre right of the right-hand crack of Treebeard. Boulder up a short wall to a small ledge (thread). Move up through a slight bulge on hidden holds following a shallow groove to reach a larger ledge. Step left towards the right facing hanging corner and climb this until it is possible to swing left onto the rib and join the finish of Treebeard.

Nice climbing on the HVS bit, felt a bit goey with only micro wires for protection. Pity the to half or so is only Severe at most and pretty rubbishy. Worth doing for all that.
Ian Stirrups - Lead O/S - 29/Jun/14 with Trevor Lewis

felt very soft
Jon Didymus - Lead O/S - 15/May/14 with Rich

A little easy for HVS?
richiebongo - 2nd O/S - 15/May/14 with Jon Didymus

A good route and independant.
The Pylon King - TR rpt - 11/Mar/14 with Mr Shunt

Some loose rock & a bit vegetated. Might be worth a star after more cleaning. Microwires useful.

Gibbo - Lead - 19/May/13 with Claire Chipperfield, Tom Gibbison

Nice route - move over to the right when you reach the horizontal break to find the hidden holds above...
evhall - Lead O/S - 30/Apr/13 with Fletch

Great start to the day, well worth a star.
Stanners - Lead O/S - 25/Mar/12 with James Rich, Jack Bradbrook

I great warm up to the day. This route doesn't appear to0 be very good from the bottom but once you get on it it's a brilliant route.
JamesRich - 2nd O/S - 25/Mar/12 with Rob stanfield, Jack Bradbrook

Climbing it in the sunshine this time as apposed to the rain really does make it a rather appealing route.
Quarryboy - 2nd rpt - 25/Mar/12 with JamesRich, Rob Stanfield

Hidden - 2nd β - 05/Aug/11

very vegetated, but cos the abseil doesn't go down the line we couldn't trim it. Lots of not very hidden hands on the bulge - it's the feet which are a very thin!
hms - Lead O/S - 05/Aug/11 with Jenny

mandy - Lead O/S - Mar/11 with rick

Good find mark. Technical climbing with hidden holds that aren't always facing the way yo want to. A good challenge with some spaced gear
Quarryboy - Lead O/S - 25/Feb/11 with Jack Treble

Hidden - Lead O/S - 08/Feb/11

The holds are all there, but are often difficult to spot from below - the route is quite sustained in this respect. There is some minor looseness which should settle down after a few repeats. A welcome addition at the grade, as yet unpolished, and worth its star.
bpmclimb - Lead O/S - 21/Mar/10 with Clare

Some nice moves low down and a pleasant finish.
