Climbs the buttress right of Gravesend and where the cliff base turns sharply upwards into the narrow section of the Couloir. Start about 30m right of Gravesend where an easy turfy ramp leads up right.
1. 30m Climb the ramp.
2. 30m Work out left by a devious line on steep ground, always keeping right of a slabby left-facing corner, to reach easier angled terrain.
3. 50m Climb up right to a big terrace.
4. 50m There is a Grade I escape rightwards up a gully here. Instead, cross the gully leftwards and go up a turfy line on the buttress above.
5. 25m Continue to the crest on the left and climb it steeply.
6. 35m To the top.
