Rockfax Description
The soaring pillar high on the crag gives a demanding pitch on superb rock with a bold start. To reach the base of the climb, either scramble up the vegetated gully below, traverse in to the base from the top of pitch 4 of The Cambridge Climb, or abseil from the top of the crag. Start at a groove just right of the rib.
1) 6a, 35m. Follow the groove to a hold at 5m (possible skyhook runner) and make a thin sequence left to gain a narrow slab. The slab leads leftwards to a groove on the less steep left-hand side of the rib. Follow this rib to a ledge, then switch to its right side and climb it to a ledge and belay under a wall.
2) 4c, 10m. Climb the wall to the top. © Rockfax
