An interesting left-ward traverse from Kellan Slab to the top of the zawn containing The Somme. This climb is tide and especially swell dependent. Follow a line around the high tide mark under steep walls till you come to a square cut corner. Step down and round the corner and up on to slabbier ground. Now follow a diagonal line up a fault line to belay on some ledges (optional escape). From hear traverse left and down to some ledges (This is the 2 nd Belay of Passchendale E2). Now climb the easy angled ramp out left-wards to the top.
