Very easy to traverse to the anchors of Real McKay or the one on the right so I did that. I also trimmed back some of the brambles, hopefully making it a bit more appealing. Really enjoyable outing!

Nice well protected climbing but the top out was very overgrown with hawthorn and brambles.

very good route, sustained and well protected. But top out into spikey bushes a bit unpleasant, and couldn't find a way to get down other than abseil from a tree further right.

Nice crack. Hardest bit was topping out through the hawthorn. Best to abseil off I think.

It was graded as Hard Severe 4b in the Scottish Rock Climbs SMC book. I thought it was a bit more difficult than a HS!!! Really good climbing and plenty of protection.
