High quality, technical wall-climbing up the thin crack above the massive right-hand boulder. Start on top of the right-hand boulder.Pull up into the crack on the wall with difficulty and follow it to where it eases, then reach the break above. Move left and pull up steeply to a ledge and the top just above. © Rockfax

picked a nice hot, still day to test myself on the Cornish granite (was like climbing with soap on my hands....!)
Hard - proper E4! Great lead by Ferdia. The first move off the boulder was the hardest but at least it was well protected. The next move off the foot ledge was not much easier but again decent kit. After that easier but not that easy moves and only just adequate gear - a lot of it but none of it bomber.

really happy to have got this one, getting established in the crack takes some thought

Clean after a few false starts. Some hard moves and looked a bit bold!
Really hard to get of the ground. It took me about an hour. Gear took up good hand holds.
