pretty similar to last logbook entry! only ice on the crux was verglass, axes ripped as i was trying to get my foot onto a high placement. resulted in a huge fall, a less than pleasant long wait for the helicopter lying on a snow ledge with badly fractured vertabrae and now 6-8 weeks lying in a hospital bed. I should point out that up until that point it really is an awesome climb, il certainly be back next year to finish it off!

Ice was thin. Took a big lead fall at the last pitch just a few meters before reaching easy ground. My picks ripped out one after another when I tried to pull myself up. Luckily no major injury but had to abseil all 6 pitches. A long night. Cracking route!

Quite tricky and committing. Would almost definitely need ice on the crux.
