Queen's Diamond Jubilee Monday and Tuesday. Drove to the point where the road leaves Loch Quoich to make for Kinloch Hourn. Water very low. Somewhat overcast. Walked 7 or so miles along the northwest shores of the loch to the dams, under Sgurr na Ciche, before turning westward for a further mile in hope of a camp by Lochan nam Breac, if suitable. Had been thinking of climbing Ben Aden that day then walking to Barrisdale! Sun beginning to come out at this point. Came in view of Lochan nam Breac under afternoon sun and breeze: stunning! Then saw sandy beach. Most perfect wild camp spot ever. Pitched the tent and sunbathed for an hour. Evening views of Luinne Bheinn through the tent opening. Good sleep then nice wee scramble up SSE ridge Ben Aden the following day, then walk out. Only minor midging x2 on stopping for food on the way out. Subsequently found out the wild camp site is mentioned by Hamish Brown.
