From Forestry com car park (free) in strath Croe cross footbridge and follow Gleann Choinneachain stream south side great track crossing it higher up (streams still high but crossed without inc) then a stalkers track breaks off right into coire an sgairne this breaks out onto the ridge of meall a bhealaich from there an easy stroll to the summit with good visibility keeping steep ground to your left. subsidary top not climbed as intention to do A Ghlas Bheinn as well so we returned back by way of ascent to stalkers path jct then turned right and walked up short distance to Bealach an Sgairne where we then climbed the SE ridge of the munro somewhat undulating before reaching the summit a good two munro day given the dubious weather conditions but reasonably lucky with the views rain on second munro though. 7 hrs 55 min day.

Navigated across the Plaide Mor with map & compass in drizzle & mist. As we made our way back over the crest of the Ceum na h-Aon Choise, the clouds parted dramatically to produce stunning weather for the next 2 weeks!
