Abi and I walked from Seathwaite to the summit via the Corridor route. The internet says that it is equivalent to walking 16 miles with ups and downs accounted for. Abi did amazingly faced with stuff that scared her. we took an unplanned short cut up a scree slope. Overall a brilliant day.

A fantastic walk!! much endurance is needed! Started the walk at Seathwaite and headed up to Esk Hause via Stockley Bridge and Grains Gill. From Esk Hause on upto Great End across the top of Broad and Ill Crags, then a very steep pull up to the summit of the Pike. Some very beautiful views from the Pike, my favourite being Great Gable. The return route was taken via the Corridor route taking in the superb scenery of Piers and Greta gills and Taylor Force.
