A great outing - long, exposed and committing but nowhere very difficult. Nowadays the ridge is normally done south to north. From Kallevatnet, head up the grassy ramps to the seaward end of the ridge then follow it northwards - technically easy but parts of the ridge are extremely exposed with sheer walls falling away on both sides and escape would be problematical. Either descend vague paths into Trolldalen then head down the valley - around 5 hours. Alternatively continue over Lille Vågakallen and up Vågakallen North Ridge for really a big day out.

A long exposed and committing ridge, - nowhere very difficult. Usually followed from south to north.
