Dry day but damp ground. Exited the gate on the llyn gwnant capsite, followed the path on the right for aprox 200m before scrambling up the waterfall through the trees, traversed to the top of the gwynant crag, followed the wall, over the wall directly up over the loose scree, continued up through a little gully on the right. Assent became vertical and very wet and slippy on the ground moss. Mist halted the summit attempt, decended towards the wall and down the side of the crag back to the camosite.
