The traverse offers a stretch of easy scrambling which, whilst not particularity exposed, is protected by several lengths of Via Ferrata cable.

βeta: The path up from Sief is poorly marked and difficult to follow. When you reach a radio mast pass this on the left and continue generally up and left to the col de la roda. The “main” path over point 1971 to the col marked in red on maps has been moved and now leaves the road close to the stream further north.
