[No.3 Gully, 2 kb]The gully between B and C Buttresses is well-defined only between the Middle Ledge and the Rake, where several short ice steps provide interest. Where it tops out at the Rake, there are three possible finishes: 1. Left-hand finish, consistent with grade; 2. Central icefall direct finish, III; 3. Right-hand finish, consistent with grade. From the Rake, many continuations are possible on the Upper Tier.

Complete from just beneath the middle tier; excellent snow-ice. Two significant steepenings. A quality route, but outshone I feel by the Smear. Right-hand finish.
