[Lovely winters evening at portland, 3 kb]15m. A tight, but inescapable line. Start up Fighting Torque and continue direct with some hard moves over the bulge and up the arete. © ROCKFAX
The blunt arete to the right of "Fighting Torque". Start up "Fighting.." then continue straight up with some hard moves over the bulge and then the arete using the broken flowstone for your left hand and crimps and pinches for the right. Finish at the belay of "Shiver me Timbers". A tight line but inescapable, one of the best hard routes at the Cuttings.

Quiddity - Lead dog - 11/Mar/12 with Hazel

Stoked! Took too many sessions but got it quick today. Much harder than the others I've done of this grade... One of which was an 8a till recently. Probably borderline.

This climb needs more attention! simply stunning, 3 star all the way, and hard as nails! Hardest climb i've done yet so i'm not sure how qualified I am to comment but i think this is hard 7c+ or higher, took me considerably longer than any 7c. It has lost a hold while I have been working it (wasn't me!) which could explain the difficulty. awesome.
