This poute covers very similar ground to the next route and takes a line of grooves up the buttress. Start at the lowest part of the south-west buttress.
1) 18m - Climb the left wall of a groove to belay on a large ledge.
2) 12m - Start up the left corner of the ledge for 6 metres; then traverse right to the continuation of the starting line.
3) 12m - Move round to the right onto a steep wall and go up for 6 metres to a ledge. Continue up to a belay below an overhang.
4) 18m - Move left across a short wall and left again to the arete. Climb this to the summit fields.
