Saw another team coming down so went up, the first 6m steep pitch was in but the top crux pitch had a big hole in the middle so traversed out and down to car. Will maybe get it next time! aaarggh.

Nice substitute if Grey Mare isn't in, done 3 times 2009/2010, but on last ascent it seemed like the water course had changed - although there was ice in abundance elsewhere, Broken Cleugh was very dry with minimal ice.
