Restricted Access
Seals breed in Parliament House cave during the autumn months and climbers should take particular care not to disturb them during the time from late August to late October when the young seal pups can be eailsiy sepreated from their mothers with devastating consequences.
A large (huge!) rockfall occured at the back of Parliement House Cave in 2017 which affects some of the routes in the cave and further rockfalls are likley!
Rockfax Description
I know, you meant to climb Seal's Song but forgot the rocket fuel for the jump! Start from the base of the slanting chimney.
1) 40m. Climb the slabby left wall of the chimney until it is possible to step onto the steep wall above the overhang. Climb the wall to a flake and use this to reach the vertical crack on the right. Climb the crack to a good stance on the left.
2) 25m. Move left for 3m and climb a system of left-trending cracks to the top. © Rockfax
