100m, 2 pitches. First pitch not too step with belay on the top right below the rock face. Second pitch straight in the middle of the ice fall for about 30 meters then move right and up before joining a tree belay - several trunks together - about 4 meters on the right hand side. Abseil in the rock groove just below the belay that join just the belay of the first pitch.

Very crowded, raining large chunks, bailed at top of first pitch and abbed off.

Really snowy conditions - aver a foot overnight and still snowing when started climb. Floundering in thigh deep snow to get to start up steep slope through a forest.

Lead first pitch. Climbed about 10 meters up second pitch, placing three ice screws in the ice that felt increasingly bad. When I looked up I saw a white, styrofoam like ice on the exit from the pitch. I down-climbed, leaving top ice screw behind. During the descend we saw other people doing the route. Quite devastating experience.

Jeff and Chris on route as well. Hard approach through deep snow (swam well by Paul). A lot of clearing on route, well worth the effort.
