North East Spur** III
[Topping out on North East Spur, "The Neck" in the background., 2 kb]4 pitches. The spur rises as a series of rocky steps to the left of the stream starting well below the entrance to the cwm. At 650m the ridge levels out and crosses leftward to a curious square tower (The Pinnacle) directly beneath Castell Y Gwynt (Castle of the Goats.) Easy first ledges lead to a steep groove and onto the main crest. A narrow flat gangway "The Neck" is cossed to reach the final pitch.
