We tried this in what would be pretty thin [as in no ice] but frozen conditions. The rock is exceptionally lacking in gear placements on the route and generally on the crag by the look of things. No gear No turf [to speak of] No way [not at grade 4 or even 5] A good looking line though . What a pity.
