Mostly soloed, but one short pitch worth putting the rope on for at the top. Up a bit of steepish ice and through a hole!

In the dark, better ice than the East gully, but less well defined and mostly not as steep. Interesting steep icefall (3ish) at the end, a tricky-looking rock step to escape from the top of this didn't appeal so went on an underground expedition instead.

Very nice route, ice was pristine. Many short steps, good fun. The top icicle ( 3mtr III ) is good to finnish on, either mantelshelf over the top rock directly or traverse left. Also climbed up the chimney and into the small cave on the left of the icicle
