I led P1. Really good route. Not too distressing with the set of cams we had, but I reckon it would still be E1 (just) if you only had a single camalot 3. It's well worth doing the second pitch rather than abbing off. I think the technical crux was in the groove near the top.

Attempted to lead it, reached halfway but dropped set of nuts, lowered down to retrieve them, climbed back up again to slightly above then finally ran out of puff so lowered down. Matt then successfully led and I successfully seconded. Maybe a clean lead some day but need to workout first!

Fantastic pitch. Taking Tim's big cams reduced the anxiety somewhat. Abbed off after P1.
Jim Slater - Lead O/S - 05/Mar/14 with Chris Hindley

P1 is great, two F5's make it E1. Much better than Cenotaph! So good I even seconded Jim on it 2 days later, when we abb-ed off from a good spike about 5 m into P2, avoiding the scruffy top half

Great route. Well worth it's 3 stars. I think it's too hard for E1, definitely E2. You need to put in a lot of effort on the off-width section. Never really hard but quite a lot of it. Enjoy
