only my second winter route and I have to say what a buzz. Watching Stuart, my mentor, negotiate the choc stones on the second pitch got me thinking, but thoroughly enjoyed the route and didn't feel out of my depth at any point. Great day out.

A great climb in beautiful weather! Conditions were good, plenty of frozen turf and ice. Took a slightly harder line up a crack to the right near the top. Would recommend this to anyone looking to make this a slightly harder grade III.

First ice step had been worn away by previous parties so climbed rock ledge on the left. Rest of route was in good condition but felt easy for the grade. More like a II with a couple of steeper steps. Still a great route and would recommend it as a first grade III due to it's ease and good protection.

I led pitches 1 and 3, Will led 2. Then traversed into Central Gully and finished up that. Turf was mainly unfrozen so a good job the climbing was mainly on rock and snow! All very wintery looking and feeling, it was snowing for most of the climb.

Led pitch 2. Conditions improved from top to bottom. Somewhat unfrozen at the bottom and loose snow. From top of second pitch snow was much better. Only seemed to have a couple of tricky moves, so seemed easy for the grade. Finished up central gully, the top of which was in good nick.
