80m, 2 pitches.

Rockfax Description
80m. An excellent mixed route often in condition. 1) 3, 40m. Start at the lowest rocks and climb the left edge of the buttress passing a short steep wall to a belay on a slab below a step wall. 2) 5, 40m. Climb a short crack above the belay and step right to a small bay. Up a bulge and traverse left to below a step wall. A technical move gains a tiny ledge on the edge and a tricky move right enables the final shallow groove to be reached. © Rockfax

felt hard for IV, not sure if we were on the exact line. all frozen solid and well rimed

Cracking, led every pitch, not sure what we did at the top as some bits weren't quite in the best nick, other than that route was in prime condition.

Great blue sky day. Good climbing with some quite tricky sections and snow not always consolidated - good belays

I climbed P1 then Scott fell off P2 five times and we went home as it was getting dark.

good conditions until I went direct at crux instead of the stepping into the bay not much on it, turf in the corner was soft ice brittle left it for another day after falling off, good gear atleast

Led pitch 1 and 3. Rob led the second pitch but went straight up towards the steep corner rather than traversing right. We ended up moving out left trying to torque in the wide crack with very little for feet. Bloody awkward and definitely harder than grade IV! Rob led it smoothly, I fell off! Conditions were decent. Turf very well frozen, snow well frozen and cracks generally free of ice. Pitch 3 was ok for grade IV but the turf is very thin and would be impossible in unfrozen conditions.

P1 + P3 will (including untying one rope!) I did P2 but went straight up (as for Loki i think) then stepped left to use the obvious triangular flake which was clean with no usabale ice (see pics) as the Loki corner above was very thin. Great gear (massive hex) and safe but i thought technically v. hard (maybe IV 5/6 but need someone to confirm) and fun

Amazing conditions. Plastered all over in perfect neve/ice. You could climb almost anywhere. I stopped on a minute ledge (boot width) to take in the view about halfway up, and savour the moment before it was all over.
