Restricted Access

The stretch of cliffs between Dover and Kingsdown is owned by the National Trust and designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest and Special Area of Conservation. Care should be taken when topping out on routes from 'Global Warming' to 'White sail' not to dislodge or damage cliff top vegetation - there are a number of small juniper trees growing at and just below the cliff edge which are rare along the Dover Cliffs. For further details contact the NT office in Dover (01304) 207 326.

Seasonal Restrictions

Dates: 1 March to 31 July

Reason: Nesting Birds

Between 'The X Files' and 'Houdini' inclusively, climbing is restricted due to nesting peregrines between 1st March and 31st August

37m. The bottom of the route looks to have fallen down as there is no corner to the left side as described in the guidebook. There are some clean chalk blocks in the vicinity of where the start would have been. A start from directly underneath the route may still be possible but the first few moves are very difficult involving a boulder problem over a 45 degree overhanging block with foot holds on green chalk. The harder right hand start looks to still be there but also very difficult.
