[Confessions of a Speed Freak, 2 kb]30m. The spoil heap below the right-hand west wall is characterised by a massive boulder. To its right is a squat pillar with two cracklines. Confessions of a Speed Freak is the wider right hand crack; about 9m, then scramble up behind the tottering pillar to the top of quarry.

Needed a bit of a clean on the way up, but not an excuse for not doing it without falls/rests. Good hard climbing. Pretty full-on for E1.

Good arm jams on the first half, but made a mess of the layback section - fell off, needed a tight rope and generally climbed very ungracefully :-(

Managed to avoid the nasty jams by lay backing, required a slight twist of the toe into the last metre or so of crack as it was pretty bit grimey
