Ollie's Groove/Self Harmer*** E7 6c
15m. The striking groove feature right of Jubilee Principle gives a bold technical challenge. Gear at 2/5 height provide the only protection. A running belayer may just keep you off the floor for the first of the crux moves, however for the last few to the top you are on your own. Top end of the grade. Fr7b+/7c and maybe E8.

Second ascent. Found this a really mental challenge. Think it was a good idea to go for it. I went with it full commitment and it went smooth, was fucking scary though. More than My Piano! Ascent on film.

Had tried this on two occasions last year. Once ona shunt and only managed half of the moves. The second time i top roped it with Sean and again did all moves apart from the crux. Worked a method out today, and managed the line clean twice. On the limit. Such an amazing ascent by Ollie. Possibly E8! Dark horse ascent of 2010. Psyched but scared.
