From Refuge Argentiere. Marks first alpine route,we hd intended on traversing Tour Noir. Paul & Mark rappeled down the couloir I followed tacking out the ankers. F

Little snow mostly an ice climb on the left hand side; survived dangerous stonefall which injured a climber in the centre of the gully
