Aimed to do the normal route but didn't have a guide so went off route. Awful conditions with soft snow and thin ice even though it looked great. Should have backed off but ended up better to carry on. Took ages, benighted, but with amazing weather.

abit epic this, pretty sketchy giving the conditions - atleast the deep snow kept us off the turf which was dripping underneath higher up sections well frozen though
