Arrived in a sleep deprived state, to a muggy and deserted Denham. Tip toed around endless dog turds to attempt this easy route only to be forced up a harder line to the left by a newly arrived team who started up Concave Wall and then traversed left into our route. Rope drag and some time later my second was unable to follow the harder and big swing potential of the new traverse back left. Lowered him to the ground, abbed down collecting the gear, and went to the pub. Best decision of the day!

The ledge is a nervous moment. Was clipped into a pitton under the DC letters but was a lot of rope between myself and that clip. Wouldn't have liked to lead it!

Loose top out a long way above the gear. Was also having a real battle with rope drag - a frightening experience. Double ropes recommended. The traverse along the ledge is also quite scary with groundfall potential.
