Great climb! I lead the first pitch (again). Matt lead the 2ns. Spent a long time figuring out the first move and then did a storming lead on a challenging and exposed pitch. Went a bit off-route at the end though. I lead the 3rd pitch and was very pleased to do it. Was getting pumpeed hanging about and knew that was a road to nowhere, so found a convincing undercling and managed to boom up it, not stopping to place gear! Very exhilerating pitch! Matt closed the proceedings with the 4th pitch, another nice pitch. Classic route, worth the hype!

I think it was 1 am before we left the Trewellard Arms, having finished late the night before and failed to find anything meaningful to eat - lots to drink, mind, but not much to eat. Low tide was at 6.30 in the morning. At 7.30 I was sat at the bottom of the route watching my mate lead the first pitch; it was a cold, grey day, with the wind blowing the tops of the waves in my face. I felt awful. By the time I'd led pitch 2, I felt great and the world was a wonderful place! It's that kind of a route.
