First piece of gear left in from Jamie's attempt but pulled rope through for 'cleaner' ascent. Tricky start, but left less skin behind than last week's effort. I may have gone 'off route' onto blind man's buttress at one point. Not as straightforward a route as it looked, the gear's generally by your feet for the more difficult moves, rather than higher (this makes it more scary for crap climbers!). Horrible belly flop/wriggle with stuck knee at the top crack/slab. Very inelegant!

A tough route,espcially in the dark.. Quite balancy on the main slab and the sencond crux move over the sencond bulge was a nightmare belly flop leg jam type of move .... Good lead for David.
