Got this clean on the second attempt. No. 4 cam in the roof; right hand jam; high right foot. Left hand lay away on the crimp inside the crack; reach with a high right hand for the jug on the right inside the crack; pull through. Good route, physical from the moment you jam up on to the slab and jamming crack.

A fine climb, requires strong arms. Ignore guidebook claims about exiting the crux to the right as this burned both of us out. A hold to the left and a heel hook gets you over the small overhang. Great fun!

A poor attempt at a streaming wet crack - came off from the roof and popped a stupid placement (didn't have the right sized cam, didn't rack well, entirely my fault) while heel hooking.. took an upside-down fall about five metres to the slab below. If I had any sense it would have been both safe and doable. One to learn from - my first fall on trad. Thanks for the beautiful soft catch John! Not a proud climbing moment.
