All bolts on the East Face and the final pitch of Gweilo were chopped during protest banner removal in 2020.
Hong Kong Rock Description
50m. Classic outing and much harder now due to the successive loss of holds.
1) 6c - 20m - 10 Bolts. Follow Austrian Staircase to where a line of bolts leads left for several metres until a hard move leads to easier ground and hanging belay.
2) 7a+ - 20m - 15 Bolts. Climb above the belay then drift up and rightwards to a blank section of wall. Pass the blank section of black-coloured rock and gain better holds before more sustained climbing leads back left on a rising traverse to another small stance and hanging chain belay.
3) 6a - 10m - 6 Bolts. Climb a slightly rightward trending crack above the belay to an abseil station. © Hong Kong Rock
