160m, 6 pitches. Starts up a rather chossy conglomerate gully but eventually emerges onto a clean limestone face with some nice (and polish-free!) climbing. P5 is given 5c+/A0. This is quite closely bolted with a series of moves of increasing difficulty, moving round a bulge and up into a scoop with a final long thin move to snatch at some tat hanging from the final bolt.
Best descent uses stations from a range of routes below the top-out, in 3 50m abseils. First abseil, from tat around a tree hanging over the edge, is a little awkward to set up.
Rather uninspiring to start, but the final few pitches are excellent. Nice moves on sharp, crisp limestone. Aid pitch went free at around 6b, just before the rain hit. jonny taylor - AltLd O/S - 26/Aug/11 with Andy B
