Characterful late season ascent at the end of a week of bad weather on Arran. Climbed wearing gloves, full waterproof gear and sack, hit by a viscious squall after the step round the rib, after that fair bit more rain and gusty wind on exposed final rib. Three tier chimney was wet and hard in these conditions. A great British adventure!

Led the first two pitches in one. Freddie forgot his rock shoes so despite trying to climb in boots, decided against it. Tried to send the guide book up on his rope, it got stuck with the rope, so we called in a day and ab'ed off and walked up Cir Mhor. Will definately return to complete the route.

Excellent pitches up and across slabs, but then uncertain of route after the large roof. Ended up climbing two pitches that felt far more VS than VDiff. However still a good outing. (The long cracks and curving rock kept making me think of El Cap!).
