Had a good onsight go that ended just below where I assume the mid height chain used to be. Here the climbing changed from well chalked, polished stuff to unchalked, wet and snappy stuff, there is a new scar and newly bolted route to the left, I wonder if a flake out left has been levered off? There's now a long, unnecessary runout here on suspect holds. However from there to the top is excellent again, particularly going through the fat sidepulls high up. Another mega pitch, felt more solid for the grade than most things here. second go.

Should have gone for the onsight but got scared of hitting the ledge at the start and didn't commit. Put the draws in and set up Ally Smith for the flash which I suppose was only fair!

Very good, long and sustained.
