[Jan on the Descent of Heidi's Aurora, Aunfjellet, Troms, Norway., 2 kb]35m. Grade WI2+ or UK winter II/III, the line features a steep start followed by a low angled (60-70°) stepped, ice slab up to an easy snow filled gully. Excellent beginners route to practice technique with the option of Abalakov or tree abseil/rappel. The route could be continued up a UK grade II snow gully, but as a moose had already descended the upper part it was decided not to continue. FA: 05/01/2011.
