βeta: CAUTION - On ascent, after broad brown col/limestone inclusion (1/3rd of the way) the route climbs steeply again and merges with knife edge ridge approaching from the left/north. This may not be noticeable at the time. However, on descent in poor vis, it would be easy to miss the now left turn that the route takes back onto the subsidiary ridge, and simply continue straight ahead and onto the knife edge ridge, which if followed soon leads to 10m cliff as ridge rises again, and is inescapable on either side. Cairnes exist at turning point but not especially obvious. Take care not to miss. | βeta? | |
