The front of the buttress is a deservedly popular climb, and one of the best routes at this grade in the area. Best saved for the end of the day, when the buttress glows orange in the setting sun.
Pitch grades are probably wrong in the guidebook - the first pitch has a tricky but well-protected move in the initial crack (probably 4a). Many people walk off after the first pitch, but the top pitch is the better one... It is, however, at least 4b, with not much gear, and could almost warrant VS? Certainly no push-over at HS!
