Rockfax Description
Good pegs allow the climbing on this impressive wall to be savoured without the seriousness of the next two routes. The crux is easier for the tall. © Rockfax

βeta: 20-09-22 reported that the second peg is loose and a ground fall could result from coming off here if it ripped. Don’t assume that this is a clip-up, if planning on leading check the pegs first. | βeta?

βeta: Taking the most logical line, I think this is probably E3 5c - and mostly E3 because the second peg is dodgy. It would be hard to onsight, though, as you really need to read rock well (or have the holds chalked) to find the line of least resistance. Starting further down and to the right (e.g the foot of the slab) is possibly 6b, but the holds lead you into the E5 instead. I think the guidebook comments about it being "practically a sport route" are idiotic, because no one should be trusting those pegs in the same way they would a bolt. | βeta?

βeta: A nice route, didn't find it reachy. Being only 5,6" it opens the way for small people :) Take a look at the pegs... | βeta?
