140m, 5 pitches. First ascent of an obvious arete feature in this section of cliff which is one of the hightest in the Maltese Islands. A route Stevie Haston has been wanting to do for 40 years since he grew up in Malta. Serious due to doubtful rock could do with some strategically placed bolt anchors. Should improve with further ascents. Abseil down to sea level below grooves and belay on a spike just left of the starting groove. This groove is technically the hardest pitch on the route. Move left to take a thin bulging crack followed by a series of ledges to an obvious stance. Easily up trending rightwards

First ascent..a 5hour epic. Serious climbing up rock that is often doubtful and loose. Could do with some strategically placed bolt anchors. Should improve with further ascents. coverdale - 2nd - 08/Mar/12 with Stevie Haston
