12m. Climbs the arete immediately left of the normal start to Lyons Corner House. From the obvious spike bridge up to a stiff rockover which gains the base of the niche. Layback the right side of the niche and continue up the arete to gain the traverse of Lyons Corner House. Finish up this or Erb. The grade assumes a side runner to protect the nasty fall at the start. Probably best considered as an independent start to Erb which then provides a very continuous E3. Suggest the name 'African Erb' for the combination.
