Fell off the start (expected) then also off the wide crack section after trying (for some reason) to climb the face to the right, then the left! Will be back to pick the regular Plum from start to finish. I may leave the crack start next time!
Did this properly today into The Plum. Tried this previously and did onsight it, but belayed 1/4 of the way up the plumb to go do another route.
Assumed this was the regular start as it seems most logical. Although, I noticed the right side approach whilst on the crux. Excellent gear but steep climbing on jams, and bridging which requires a forthright approach. Climbed through the roof after this which was good too. I'd recommend doing this start if you climb 'The Plum'.
Logged the plum but actually did this start so going to take the E2 tick :)

Only the start onsight, the rest clean repeat. The initial crack improves the route the overhang above does not.
Led by mistake thinking it was the normal version. Thought it was a bit hard.

lead pitch 1
Stonking route but fluffed nailing the crack start!! In 1 pitch from base of climb proper..
Thought this was the start for the Plum. Seemed pretty straight forward. Great route a bit of everything, no junk, but never sustained.
More like HVS but a nice move non the less.
