I led pitch 1 and pitch 3, with Kelly doing 2 and 4. The first 2 pitches are nice climbing, then the second two are where the interesting bits start! Where the climbers club guide says climb the obvious corner, go to the less obvious corner to the left! After climbing the face on the right of the corner then the slab above it felt more like E1 than VS! It then consisted of pulling on clumps of grass to get back on route. The 4th pitch is a runout scramble up grass, not so fun when your wearing climbing shoes and its wet! It is MUCH EASIER abing off at the 2nd/3rd belay rather than going down the descet gulley, especially if it is wet.

Thanks for leading, Chris. I was a mess. Must stop climbing with a hangover. Note to others, on P3, do not attempt the obvious corner on the right. rather take a left line over broken, slabby ground, up a short wall and then bridge up another corner higher up. Guide book isn't clear.

Really nice route. Only did 3 of the 4 pitches as one of us had to leave. Found the guidebook a bit ambiguous on P3 - it mentions heading up the obvious corner, but the obvious corner (on the right above the slabs) is more like E1! Eventually down-climbed and found the route a little further left, with a far less obvious corner! Nice route though.

my first trad climb. Awesome! getting round the nose on p2 was a little hairy as my fully ladened rack kept getting caught. some nice bridging moves up to p3. we elected to ab off p3 as p4's just a scramble and we needed to get some jammed gear back. it took a while - having dropped below the stuck nut and so needing to haul myself back up. gear came out pretty easier in the end though. it felt epic, but so wasn't.
