Mercia Wall >>
42m. The open wall to the right of Antarctica gained via a bold and airy traverse up on to it. Nowhere overly technical but intimidating for the grade. Strart from a small ledge on Antarctica about 6m above high tide line. After a further 9m up Antarctica a hand traverse line leeds out onto the right wall. Swing along this to its end and then climb boldly rightwards up the wall via a series of ledges. From the top of these, make a hard move to stand up and then step left and go straight up the wall to a break (thread). Step right and then up onto a flake with a ledge above. Finish direct up the slab (thread).

Pretty harrowing, the threads are very old altho they can be backed up by other good gear. Brilliant climbing in an amazing position; adventurous.
