Appalling conditions. Scottish winter style ascent. Fresh snow and limited visibility. Strong westerly winds.

First alpine route and as described was superb. Contained all the usual suspects; glacier travel, moving together, early start. Took a slight detour on the arÍte that made it unnecessarily hard. Lesson learnt. Finished by jumping the crevasses on the Moiry glacier which was an experience and a half! Would definitely recommend as a good 1st alpine climb.
